Since the age of 10 I've been practicing and perfecting the art of henna for the festival of Eid. Derived from the henna shrub, the leaves and picked and dried to make a powder before being mixed with oils and hot water to make a beautiful paste. All those years ago when I was first introduced to henna in India, I used fresh paste (from leaves from the garden) and made designs using toothpicks.

By 15, I practicing for clients in Saudi Arabia before a time studying in Edinburgh where I continued to practice upon my student friends. I believe it's my time travelling and exploring, experiencing all different cultures which has really influenced my wide ranging and adaptable style: from modern Western tattoos; to the elegance of traditional Indian patterns; to bold and beautiful Arabic designs. I love them all and love to express myself by really playing with styles and mixing it all up.

After many years practicing henna, makeup and hair styling for models, brides and celebrities around the world. I love to pass on all that I have learnt to my team and my wonderful students. Because I believe and have come to realise that true beauty is not just how you look, but how you feel. It sounds cliche, but I love to be around people, friends and family. More than anything, I love to share my time, my skills and my experiences with others. I believe life is a beautiful gift, but it's up to us to make it that way. I'm blessed to love what I do, I hope to share it with you someday...
